This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following: Global A-Series Dental Microscope. Brand Name or Equal to Global Surgical Corporation IAW 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. Use for intricate endodontics procedures resulting in significant advancements in the effectiveness of FboNotice canal therapy and endodontic surgery. Installation must be included as well as working with our BIOMED team. The following are the required salient characteristics the microscope must meet to be considered for potential award; Salient Characteristics Must have a LED Light source with 100,00 lux Must be ceiling mounted (all required parts/equipment/etc. included) Must have a HD color Video camera Must come with a live view monitor Must be easy to maneuver with an axis control system Must have up to 6 steps of magnification Must be able to UV filter in clear, amber and green Must have magnification changer capabilities from the handles to help with ergonomics Must have multi focal lenses Must have up to 160mm binocular capability with adjustable magnification Must have up to 150 mm of focal adjustment capability Must have disposable lens covers and eyecups for infection control purposes Must have a binocular adapter for 45 degree extender Magnification 2.1x-3.2x-5.1x-8.0x-12.8x-19.2x Dual port beamsplitter 50/50 and 50/50 ports with a dove tail mount HD video camera 1080P V2 with 30 HDMI cable Camera adapter for HD video camera Vendor must install the support arms, optics and provide a thorough Inservice Must have McDonald arm 17 extension arm option only based on the location selected for ceiling mount 45-degree arm, spring arm, extension arm Ceiling column for 10 ft mounting surface (not drop ceiling height) Vendor must install the support arms, optics and provide a thorough Inservice Delivery: 30 Days ARO Potential Businesses having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to niel.chase@va.gov no later than 16:30 (4:30p) on 6/17/2024.
