This is a request for other than full and open competition to enter into a single firm fixed price contract with Wavemark for Inventory Management Systems Support and Maintenance at the following medical centers: Puget Sound VA Healthcare System, 1660 S Columbian Way, Seattle, WA 98108, Portland VA Healthcare System, 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, OR 97239, and Boise VA Medical Center, 500 West Fort Street, Boise, ID 83702. The proposed contractor is WaveMark, 300 Baker Avenue, Suite 207, Concord MA 01742. These services will be for a base year and four (4) one year option periods to include FAR 52.217?8, Option to Extend Services. This justification is in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and specifically FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements, where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the formant of FAR 6.303?2.
