The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for BRAND NAME or EQUAL sources of the following: Training Laptop NO NETWORK Qty. 4 Salient Characteristics: These four training computers will be configured in an accessible way to evaluate and train Veterans in Speech Pathology with cognitive and/or communication deficits and physical barriers to access to technology, e-mail, Internet, word-processing, and other computing skills. A variety of assistive accessories will be used to evaluate best access to technology in the setting of physical limitations, such as upper extremity weakness. These computers will also allow access to guest Wi-Fi for connection to communication and cognitive training applications that are not accessible within the VA server. As the training computers will be off the VA network, a printer will also be needed in order to have print capabilities when needed. The word-processing software must be Microsoft Office Home and Business.
