The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for BRAND NAME or EQUAL sources of the following: Quantum Rehab Q6 Edge 3 Power Wheelchairs: Salient Characteristics This equipment will allow us to mobilize newly injured Veterans out of bed into a power wheelchair to participate in their acute rehabilitation program on the Spinal Cord Injury Unit. The equipment must be adjustable to any width and length to fit Veterans with hip width from 15 to 20 wide and seat depth from 16 to 20 deep, with Veterans who weigh up to 290 lbs. The equipment must be able to accommodate our current supply of a wide variety of cushion types and backrest styles, from various manufacturers, to customize seating system to accommodate for any weaknesses/deficits in posture or skin integrity. This equipment must work with our existing supply of Quantum armrest, armrest pads, legrests and thigh guides to allow seating supports to be adjusted; as well as oxygen tank holders, attendant controls and alternative drive systems. The Battery must be rechargeable and 8 hours to full charge with an operating hour length of 12 hours.
