With trade-in for current CVX-300 The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Small Business Manufacturers, other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing items requested. The intended contract is a firm-fixed price contract. A SBA Non-Manufacturer Rule Waiver will not apply if this requirement is set-aside for small business. It does apply to all other socioeconomic small business categories. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for BRAND NAME or EQUAL sources of the following: Salient Characteristics: For Angio/IR Application Nexcimer Laser needed for photoablation during interventional radiology Utilizes 120V- standard medical grade outlets. Can be utilized for Lead removal. Start up time less than 30 seconds. Touch screen navigation. Utilized for the following procedures. Coronary Atherectomy. Peripheral Atherectomy. Lead extraction. Wavelength-308 nm. Chassis not to exceed 52 L x 42 H x 19 W. Weight not to exceed-490 lbs. Class IV laser system. Ability to completely adjust fluence and rate settings. Must be able to ablate lesions greater than 20mm. Single use guidewire must be utilized. Must provide safety glasses with optical density greater than or equal to 9 @ 308nm. Catheter must not be radio translucent so that it can be located using x-ray.
