This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following in support of the Boise VA Medical Center (BVAMC). The Boise VA Medical Center (BVAMC) CLC currently has the Wander Alert system installed on all interior doors. To provide additional wander protection to patients, additional sensors need to be installed on the external doors. BVAMC has a need for: Quantity Part # Product Name 3 SR3ID03 Stanley RoamAlert Door Controller Scope Install 3 additional Stanley SR3ID03 door controllers in CLC building 121 and interface the controllers with the currently installed RoamAlert system. Specific Tasks Install, program and connect to door mag locks 3 additional Stanley SR3ID03 RoamAlert door controllers. Install will include door contacts, exciter and cabling. 1 door controller will be connected to a single external door and the other two door controller will connect to external double-doors. All 3 controllers will be installed on external doors at the below location: Boise VA Medical Center Building 121 500 W. Fort St, Boise ID 83702. The 3 installed door controllers will interface with the currently installed RoamAlert PC/Server. The additional 3 door controllers will be programmed into the Roam Alert software. The existing central power supply will be used to power the 3 new door controllers. Only Manufacturer Trained Service Engineers/Technicians or Manufacturer Authorized Service Engineers/Technicians will perform services and repairs. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary licenses and/or permits required to perform this work. Contractor shall take all precautions necessary to protect persons and property from injury or damage during the performance of this contract. Contractor shall be responsible for any injury to any contractor representative, or others, as well as for any damage to personal or public property that occurs during the performance of this contract that is caused by the contractors fault or negligence. Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Government-Furnished Information (GFI) No Government supplied Equipment or Information is required or anticipated. No gray market or remanufactured items will be acceptable. Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system, verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM.
