THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: Kitchen Hood Cleaning Service at the Roseburg VAMC. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Kitchen Hood Cleaning as defined in this performance work statement at the Roseburg VAMC in Roseburg, OR. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to `Craig Brown at craig.brown7@va.gov no later than 05 May 2023, 3PM Pacific. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. SCOPE: Kitchen Hood Cleaning Service - The Contractor shall perform all cleaning in accordance with the latest edition of the NFPA 96 Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations (current edition), and all local, state, and federal rules and procedures. The Roseburg VA Kitchen Ventilation Hoods, located at 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd., Roseburg OR. 97471. The Contractor will provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform the proper cleaning of the Kitchen Ventilation Hoods on the Roseburg VA Campus in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation of such systems and prevent any potential grease fire from spreading past the hood and ductwork. The following guidelines describe what is considered acceptable for intended services under this contract. The Contractor, through innovation, technology, or other means, shall perform the necessary Kitchen Hood Cleaning Services in order to meet the quality and performance standards at frequencies determined by the contractor. Performance shall be based on the Contracting Officer s or their designated representative s evaluation of performance and quality results, not the frequency or method of performance. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; capability statement and if the services are available on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. NAICS Code 561210 is applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Craig Brown via e-mail.
