The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed- Price IDIQ Contract with Cardinal Health. The procurement is for Radiopharmaceuticals for the Spokane VA Healthcare System located in Spokane, Washington. This is a FAR 13.5 single source procurement and will be justified under the authority of Other Than Full and Open Competition in FAR 6.302-1 and 41 USC 3304(a)(1). Only one responsible source and no other requirement will satisfy the needs of the Government. It was determined that the needed items are only available from Cardinal Health, who is the sole manufacturer and sole distributor in Spokane, Washington. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325412. The Government's intent is to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement. The Government plans to award a contract for this requirement on 12/01/2022. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Once the J&A is approved the signed document will be Posted to Contract Opportunities within 14 days of the contract award for a minimum of 30 days in accordance of FAR 6.305.
