This is a new, fixed price contract to allow VISN20 to continue to use Vaultara to share images and files with outside healthcare providers and other VA facilities. Vaultara provides a cloud-based set of applications that provides fast, secure, contact-less transfer of veterans medical data between healthcare partners. The use of Vaultara s Flight application allows for the viewing, reading, reporting, importing, and exporting of images by VA radiologists, community radiologists, referring physicians, radiation oncologists, other specialists and other clinicians. It eliminates the need for writing CD-ROMS, then hand-carrying or mailing the CDs-ROMs and importing them back into VA PACS which is a trouble-prone, time-consuming process. This procurement is for renewal of Vaultara software licenses for our existing Vaultara platform. Vaultara is the only software provider for renewal of existing licensing, and it is only sold through Velocity Applications LLC. Competing software products on the market do not have VA ATO or Fedramp authorization to be used in the VA.
