NCO 20 intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Construction Services to support VA Medical Center (VAMC), White City, OR Southern Region Rehabilitation Center & Clinics (SORCC). a. Project Scope: Contractor shall completely prepare stairwells areas of B203A, B204A, B205A and B207A for building operations related to those buildings, including demolition and removal of existing trim, sheetrock and finishes, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for project number 692-21-104 Install Stairwell Guard B203A thru 205A and B207A. The construction work includes, but not limited to, field measurements, preparation of shop drawings and construction work for installation of stair guards stop existing partial height wood walls.. Refer to the attached Statement of work and drawings. b. This is a Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern (SDVSOB) set-aside. c. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220. d. The anticipated contract will consist of one CLIN. Total contract period shall not exceed 120 calendar days. The magnitude of this project is anticipated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. e. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about 12 November 2021. A Pre-proposal conference and site visit is to be determined at a later date at VAMC, Building 229 Conference Room, SORCC, White City, OR. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend. The solicitation closing date is scheduled for on-or-about 12 December 2021.
