The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. Indirect Calorimetry Measurement System for Rodents Requested Salient Characteristics Temperature controlled cabinet 5 degrees to 40 degrees Celsius, must be uniform temperature at all levels of enclosure +/- 1 degree Celsius Oxygen and carbon dioxide sensors must be precise at physiological ranges: 1-10ppm precision for CO2 and 10-100ppm for O2, with sensor scanning rate of 10Hz Food and water intake access must be controllable by mass and time available Real-time viewing is required for activity and food intake data Must be capable of measuring respiration rate of mice and rats Activity measurements in X, Y and Z axes Running wheel controlled by computer Must accommodate normal rodent home cages, no fewer than 16 rat and/or mouse Please include brochures in your response
