Page 4 of 4 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: The Seattle VA Medical Center (VAMC) requires Prospective contractors to provide an on-site, full service maintenance and repair contract to ensure that all LEICA lab equipment is kept in proper operating condition and ready for use on patients. This contract includes all parts and service to properly provide preventative maintenance, diagnostics, phone support, on-site repairs, and software updates to ensure that all units are fully operational according to manufacturer specifications. Specific Tasks. General Requirements: The contractor shall provide all parts and service required for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, phone support, and on-site repairs, to ensure that all units are fully operational according to manufacturer specifications on: SILVER SERVICE CONTRACT, on-site contract for preventive maintenance inspections, includes two (1) planned maintenance inspections per year, labor, travel and replacement repair parts. 1. Leica RM2255 2. Leica RM2255 3. Leica RM2255 4. Leica RM2255 5. Leica CV5030 6. Leica AXL 100-120 7. Leica ST4020 3.1. The contractor shall provide semi-annual preventative maintenance on the above mentioned items. The contractor shall bear all parts and travel costs. 3.2 A comprehensive service report shall be provided to the customer at the end of service/repair stating serial number of equipment repaired, model number, description/ nomenclature and calibration status. 3.3 Report will be acceptable electronically or paper format with facility representative signature as needed. 3.4 The contractor shall not replace any part which should incur additional expense from the government without first obtaining prior approval from the VA Contracting Officer. 3.5 The contractor shall replace any parts needing repair with new parts equal or similar features and functionality. This coverage shall not include cosmetic damage, malfunctions or failures resulting from negligence from the government. Potential Businesses having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to matthew.combes@va.gov no later than 10/18/2021. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size, point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address, OEM Certifications for Technicians to provide the services must be included in the response. OEM documentation confirming access to all required OEM parts must be included in the response. Please note whether system is presently offered on a current Government contract.
