This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: Swing Gate Electrical Repairs in support of the Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center, White City, OR. Work shall consist of adjusting and servicing existing wheel systems, guide hardware, gate trussing and relocate existing photo eyes and brackets. Install two new gate openers complete with new drive chain and 3 loop detectors. Openers will be controlled by contractor supplied remote controls. Power, photo eyes and loops are existing and shall be used as practicable. Existing gate openers and any unused hardware shall be removed and disposed of by contractor . Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Jeffrey Hansen at jeffrey.hansen2@va.gov no later than September 7th 2021 at 5PM. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; capability statement and if the services are available on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract.
