The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit offers for Backflow Preventer Testing and Inspection for the Spokane VA. This requirement is for Backflow preventer testing and inspections that are required in order to ensure the protection of potable and non-potable water through routine maintenance and inspection of mechanisms to prevent cross contamination water sources. The contract shall aid in this prevention through annual inspection and testing of these devices and systems at the Spokane VA Medical Center. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. 3. The intended contract period of performance is a 12 month base year and 4 option years. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored.
