(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Diagnostic Medical Physicist for annual radiation equipment testing for the Spokane VA Health Care System as prepared in accordance with the format in ... (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Diagnostic Medical Physicist for annual radiation equipment testing for the Spokane VA Health Care System as prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented in the attached Request for Quotes (RFQ). A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated. Simplified Acquisition Procedures IAW FAR 13 will be used. (ii) The solicitation number is 36C260-21-Q-0774 and is attached. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06 effective 07/12/2021. (iv) This solicitation will be set-aside for all Service-Disable Veteran Owned Small businesses (SDVOSB). The associated NAICS code 541690 code has a small business size standard of $16.5M. The person performing the work must be an American Board of Radiology certified Medical Physicist. (v) Quotes must be emailed to Amy.Kuczajda@va.gov and received no later than 1:00pm MST on 07/22/2021. (vi) The Contracting Officer is allowed to exercise subjective assessments in conducting direct comparisons and in documenting the supporting rational/basis for award decisions. Offers will be compared to one another to determine which provides the best benefit to the Government. The Government reserves the right to consider a quotation other than the lowest price that provides additional benefit(s). The Government is not requesting or accepting alternate quotations. No late quotations will be accepted.
