The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) source, EOI, Inc, dba Medical Resources. The procurement is for maintenance and monitoring of Mesa Labs CheckPoint Temperature Monitoring System. All Checkpoint equipment is proprietary, no other vendor is authorized to maintain Checkpoint equipment. Mesa Labs is the sole maker/manufacturer of the CheckPoint Temperature Monitoring System, including hardware and software components. There is a memo from Mesa Labs in the contract file stating that EOI, Inc, Medical Resources is the exclusive distributor for the CheckPoint Temperature Monitoring System and its components in Veterans Affairs Healthcare facilities. The anticipated date of award is 3/1/2021. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Roseburg VA Medical Center 3355 Chad Dr Eugene, OR 97408 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
