36C26021Q0053 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the services described below.  Potential offerors are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to Darlene Anderson at Darlene.Anderson4@va.gov . Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Ostomy Nursing Services available within 4 hours when needed/called, for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Boise, Idaho. Contractor personnel to provide consultation regarding all aspects of ostomy care including pre-procedural counseling, marking appropriate sites for stomas, initial ostomy fittings and ongoing management of patient ostomy problems. Consultation may also include ostomy management to include but not be limited to draining wounds, sinuses and fistulas. It is anticipated that a minimum of three (3) visits for ostomy management of new enterstomal patient (pre-operative, soon post operative for appliance placement and follow up). Additional visits will be on an as needed basis. Projecting an estimated 180 visits per year. Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN). In addition, the RN must be certified as one of the following: Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN); Certified Wound Specialist (CWS); or an Ostomy Management Specialist (OMS). Potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information to Darlene Anderson at Darlene.Anderson4@va.gov : 1) Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, e-mail address, and company s Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNS). All companies wishing to do business with the federal government must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/ ; there is no charge. 2) Is your firm eligible for participation in one of the following small business programs? If so, please indicate the program. What information do you need to know from the VA that is not included in the PWS? 5) Provide a brief Capability Statement (less than 5 pages) with enough information to determine if your company can meet the requirement. The Capabilities Statement for this Sources Sought is not expected to be a Request for Quotations, Request for Proposals or Invitation for Bids, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather the Government is requesting a short statement regarding your company s ability to provide the services listed above, as needed, in Boise, Idaho. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the Capabilities Statement. Submission of Capabilities Statement will assist our office in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry standards. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining to Set-Aside for the Small Business (SB) Community or to conduct as an Unrestricted Procurement. Other than small businesses may respond to this notice in the event the market does not indicate SB interest. This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. All interested contractors should notify this office via email by November 12, 2020.
