Salient Characteristics for Replacement Slings Slings: Must be compatible for use with Arjo, Liko, and Guldman ceiling lift systems with either 2 or 4 pt. spreader bars Slings must be rated and tested for a capacity of 1000 pounds to accommodate the bariatric population. Slings must carry an unlimited warranty for three years of clinical use. Slings must be intended to be kept under patients on beds without causing pressure or microclimate problems. Sling material must be wicking on the top side and mesh on the bottom in order to allow air flow and wick moisture away from the patient. Slings must cover the whole bed and be able to handle some bariatric beds, with dimensions of 50" wide by 86 long.  The sling must offer 100" long option to cover the Centrella bed in the extended position. Slings must have elastic straps on all four corners to attach to the mattress. The sling must have at least three-loop straps to provide lifting position changes from lying or sitting positions. Sling material must be a soft polyester fabric smooth to touch to prevent skin tears during use. Sling must be approved for use in the seated position.
