This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following equipment: The VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC) has a requirement Brand-name OR Equal Ridgid C40 SeeSnake unit with Ridgid SR-20 Receiver and Ridgid Util 10 Watt Receiver. The equal must include the following minimum characteristics: Camera Quick-release dock for the camera Digital Recording Monitor with Wi-Fi Tilt Monitor Self-Leveling Camera High Dynamic Range (HDR) image sensor 2-way communication between camera and monitor Color HDR image Ability to see camera angle in degrees while in pipe Downloadable images and video Line capacity must be 1.5 6 Cable length 130 feet minimum Cable diameter no greater than 7mm Overall weight of camera no greater than 20 lbs. Must operate in temps below 0 degrees and at least 50 degrees Celsius Locator Must have following frequencies 128 Hz, 1kHz, 8 kHz, and 33 kHz Must have passive power trace 50Hz, 60Hz, <4 kHz Broadband Must have passive radio trace 4 kHz-15kHz, 15kHz -36kHz Must be Battery operated Must have at least 12 hours of Battery life Line Transmitter Must have LCD display Must have heavy duty clips Must come with at least 2 lead lines Lead lines must be at least 25 ft. Must have some sort of audible alert confirming a good circuit prior to trace Must be capable of both direct connection and induction Note: Whether purchased as a system or individual units the 3 devices MUST be compatible with one another in every aspect and for every capability offered. This will be used as a stand-alone system, none of the three devices will be used on its own so the compatibility is an absolute must. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; suggested equipment information including manufacturer, model and delivery schedule; whether system is presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract.
