The IDIQ would be awarded for a one (1) year period with two six (6) month option periods. A short-term contract was needed to ensure patient safety was not compromised. The VISN 20 Home Oxygen Contract will provide the medical facilities of VISN 20 with home respiratory care equipment and supplies for eligible veterans who meet the administrative and medical criteria for requested services through commercial home oxygen vendors working in accordance with the Joint Commission (JC) regulations.
