Intent to sole source: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to solicit and award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price service contract with Vulcan Fire and Security, LLC. Procurement is for fire alarm monitoring at the Walla Walla VAMC Campus. This procurement is limited to one source in accordance with FAR13.106-1(b). Vulcan Fire and Security, LLC manages the existing warranty of the current fire alarm system and no other sources may be used. The anticipated award date is 4/1/2025 and the anticipated start date is 4/1/2025. The period of performance is base with one (1) option year. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action.
