This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to provide a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following: Title: Portland VAMC, OR & Vancouver VAMC, OR – Schneider Electrical Meter Replacement Tasks: Replacement of existing Schneider Electric Power Logic electrical meters (obsolete) with new Schneider Electric Meters that are compatible with – Power Logic SCADA and Power Monitoring Expert (PME). Contractor shall provide replacement meters per manufacturer’s recommendation as necessary, parts and labor, to maintain SCADA system operational. Reuse existing switchgear enclosures, CT’s, wiring, etc. All electrical outages, and switchgear lineups, will be arranged and performed by VA staff. SCADA system must be left in complete working order. Anticipated Period of Performance: 1 Oct 2023 – 1 Jan 2024. Locations: PORTLAND CAMPUS – 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Road. Portland, OR 97239 VANCOUVER CAMPUS – 1601 E. 4th Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA, 98661 5. Contractor shall be directly authorized to install Schneider Electric USA product. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, UEID # and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; Capability Statement that addresses concern #5 above. NAICS Code 561210 is applicable to determine business size standard. *** In the event it is determined by the Contracting Officer that only one source is capable of providing services, this posting serves as the Notice of Intent to Sole Source the requirement. *** Disclaimer and Important Notes: This Sources Sought Notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. The Government will treat any information received as proprietary and will not share such information with other companies. Any organization responding to this Sources Sought Notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
