The Department of Veteran Affairs, Portland Veterans Affairs Healthcare System currently has a need for window washing and ice removal. These tasks include exterior window and ice removal service performing at least twice per year with atriums and stairways included. Boom lifts and snow removal services are a requirement. Statement of work will be attached to clarify work scope. This will be awarded through a firm fixed price contract. This award will be a firm fixed price contract. This Procurement is a “Small Business Set Aside” Any contractor that believes they can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within the time frame listed on the posted solicitation. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements in the solicitation. The North America Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561720. The Site visit is scheduled for 08/15/2023 at 9am with Chris Hartzell and/or David Laux at the: Vancouver VA Medical Center 1601 E 4th Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98661 It will then transition to the: Portland VA Medical Center 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Rd, Portland, OR 97239 Where all potential offerors will meet up in the Atrium in Bldg 100 when they arrive. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method and any possible socio-economic set-aside. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: Title: Window Washing Services Tasks: Furnish all labor, supervision, management, management support, transportation, supplies, equipment, and materials, except VA-furnished space and utilities as identified in these specifications, necessary for accomplishment of complete window washing services as described herein. In addition to these services, incidental-cleaning functions not specifically listed but normally included as general practice within the glazing maintenance industry will be provided. These shall include, but not be limited to, cleaning of insect and energy conservation screens, cleaning of window frames, sills and sashes, and replacement of component elements of window units damaged during accomplishment of contractual service.
