The Sheridan VA Medical Center requires a qualified contractor to upgrade and repair the lightning protection system on Building 71N at 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, to meet NFPA 780 and UL 96A standards. The work includes installing TVSS at the main service panel, establishing equipotential bonding, repairing detached roof air terminals, adding new air terminals on screen walls and HVAC equipment, and connecting new terminals to the existing system with #2 bare copper conductors. The contractor must also arrange a qualified inspection and obtain a Master Label Certificate upon successful compliance. Construction must be completed within 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed, with work generally performed 7:30am–4:00pm Monday–Friday and no weekends or federal holidays unless approved. The project occurs in an active medical center with patients present, so the contractor must prioritize patient safety and infection control, follow strict tool/access control and badging requirements, and maintain OSHA-30 onsite and OSHA-10 for all workers and subcontractors.
