This request seeks continued software support and maintenance for the existing proprietary Lynx Duress & Mass Notification System currently deployed at the VA Western Colorado Health Care System main hospital and associated telehealth and leased spaces. The services are needed solely to maintain the current system’s reliability and safety; no new installation or expansion is included. Lynx Systems is the exclusive vendor authorized to provide updates, patches, technical support, and licensing, as third-party maintenance would void manufacturer support and create safety risks. Replacing the system would require a full overhaul, staff retraining, and significant added costs and downtime. The performance location is the VA Western Colorado Health Care System in Colorado.
