This is a sole-source requirement for continued software support and maintenance of the existing Lynx Duress & Mass Notification System. Services are needed to ensure uninterrupted operation, system reliability, and staff safety at the VA Western Colorado Health Care System main hospital and associated telehealth and leased spaces. The work covers ongoing support only, with no new installation or expansion. Only Lynx Systems can provide the required updates, patches, fixes, and technical support due to proprietary vendor control and to avoid voiding manufacturer support or creating safety risks. Replacement would require a full system overhaul, retraining, and significant additional cost and downtime.
