STATEMENT OF NEED FOR CHEYENNE VAMC 2360 E PERSHING BLVD, CHEYENNE, WY REQUIREMENT The Cheyenne VAMC Patient Care Service Line (PCSL) requires two (2) new physiologic monitors for the ICU. The monitors will be replacing two existing monitors that are at end of life ( 2019) . The two existing monitors are portable devices, used when critical physiologic insights are needed such as advanced pressure, tissue Oximetry, and perfusion characteristics. These are the only two advanced portable monitoring devices that the ICU has access to. BACKGROUND The current two monitors used in the ICU were purchased in 2013 and 2016 respectively. To maintain consistency with this highly technical equipment, we are requesting that the same monitors be purchased if possible. SPECIFICATIONS The portable physiologic monitoring equipment needs to be portable to allow for movement within the room. Additional requirements include touch screen, external and internal monitoring capabilities with ECG.
