As of April 1st, 2025: the salient characteristic for weight capacity is hereby updated from 700 lbs to 650 lbs. Exam tables must be able to support up to 650 lbs. Salient Characteristics: Exam table must be ADA compliant for a small exam room. (Exam rooms are approximately 10 x 10 and usually includes an exam bed, provider desk, and clinical work area.) Table dimensions: **+/- 2 inches from the provided dimension is acceptable** Table length expandable from 57 to 78 approximate when flat Table width approx.. 28 Bed/exam table base should be approximately 46 length by 32 wide Must include seamless upholstered/cushioned exam table tops width approximately 28 Upholstery must be seamless, non-porous, and offer a protective finish to resist bacteria growth, staining, and damage.
