REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this source sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, Laboratory Rapid Testing and the resources to support this requirement for VA Western Colorado Health Care System located at 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Contractor shall be with in a 5-mile radius to the VA due to the type of samples being sent. The quantity of tests ordered will depend on the VA Medical Center Laboratory staffing, equipment problems, number of patients seen, and number of tests ordered per patient, facility infrastructure. Contractor shall provide all results for a variety of tests. Testing may be performed at the Contractor s laboratory or sent to other reference laboratories as long as test meet the STAT turnaround times. Contractor shall provide laboratory services for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Grand Junction, CO, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, in accordance with all terms conditions, provisions and the schedule per the Statement of Work (SOW). STAT tests must be completed within one hour of the receipt by the laboratory. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 621511 (Medical Laboratories).
