SYNOPSIS DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, 6162 S Willow Drive, Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to solicit sources to enter into one firm-fixed price contract to provide on-site Lithotripsy services for its Veteran population at the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System (VASLCHCS) located at 500 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84148. The Contractor shall provide certified Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (EWSL) Services to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the VASLCHS. The Contractor s technical personnel shall be certified and trained in ESWL services and operations of the unit(s). The technician(s) will assist the attending Urologist in the operation of the device. The technician may be required to operate the device and any related imaging equipment during procedures. The Contractor s technician(s) shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property. All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses. Contractor s physician (s) who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract. Reimbursement methodology shall be on per case basis, the Contractor will be reimbursed only for cases completed. The solicitation package will be available for download on or about May 31, 2024. Proposals submitted shall be due no later than 4:00 p.m. mountain time on June 14, 2024. The applicable NAICS code is 621512 with a small business size standard of $19.0 million. This solicitation is full and open competition. The solicitation reference is 36C25924R0094, Lithotripsy Services, and should be referenced in all correspondence/inquiries.
