Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 Page 1 of 2 Notice of Intent Sole Source Acquisition *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 2 Page 1 of 2 REQUIREMENT: AGFA Sustainment and Maintenance Services CONTRACTOR: AGFA Healthcare Corporation The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price (FFP) indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to AGFA Healthcare Corporation, 10 S. Academy St., Greenville, SC 29601. The Contractor is currently providing AGFA Sustainment and Maintenance Services for the AGFA Pictures Archive and Communication System (PACS), iPlan, Bi Looker, and Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) systems currently utilized by all VISN 19 Medical Care Center Radiology Departments, and a replacement contract is being established for the continuation of services. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirement for the estimated period of performance. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov at the time of the response due date. Responses are due by Friday, May 10, 2024, 10:00 AM (local Mountain Time). All responses shall be submitted via e-mail to aaron.thurber@va.gov. Telephone requests will not be accepted. A Justification and Approval (J&A) will be executed by the Contracting Activity for the contract and will be posted to Contract Opportunities, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.303-1(a). The estimated Period of Performance for this requirement is July 15, 2024, to July 14, 2029. Please see the attached Statement of Work.
