The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 is issuing this source sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support a requirement for Roman Catholic Priest Services for the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora CO, 80045. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 813110 - Religious Organizations. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a solicitation. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Chaplain Service requires one (1) Roman Catholic Priest for the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMR VAMC), located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. Also, serving at the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), and at community event locations, as assigned by the Chief of Chaplain Service. Only a validly ordained Roman Catholic priest can apply to be a Contract Catholic priest for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Applicants must possess a Master of Divinity degree or equivalent educational qualifications as evidenced by a graduate-level theological degree from a college, university or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and obtain an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from the Archdiocese for the Military Services USA. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.
