Please respond with a capabilities statement to Edward.Emerson@va.gov by 10/23/2023 at 3pm MT. Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Services Contractor shall provide qualified intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) services and instrumentation for the beneficiaries of the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center for a base year plus four option years. Neurophysiologic monitoring is the use of electrophysiological methods such as electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), and evoked potentials to monitor the functional integrity of certain neural structures (e.g., nerves, spinal cord and parts of the brain) during surgery. The purpose of IONM is to reduce the risk to the patient of iatrogenic damage to the nervous system, and/or to provide functional guidance to the surgeon and anesthesiologist. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, Colorado, 80045. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: This requirement will be for a one (1) year base period with four (4) option periods.
