The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement for Refrigeration Maintenance, Repair, and Training for the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a solicitation. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Refrigeration Maintenance, Repair, and Training Services shall include but are not limited to the following: Contractor to provide monthly service visits, emergency repairs, and parts for refrigeration equipment at the facility. In addition, the Contractor shall provide two (2) 8-hour training sessions for up to 12 VA staff. Response Time: Contractor to respond within 24 hours of notification when there is an emergency service required. For non-emergent services, contractor shall respond within 72 hours of notice. Contractor is expected to have new repair parts on order within 48 hours of notification of the VA that there is an issue with any of the equipment included in the scope of work. Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center will not provide any equipment to assist in the repair of any units or training sessions. Contractor s personnel must meet the follow qualifications: chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification, Section 608 Technician Certification per the Environmental Protection Agency, and must have at least 5 years experience working on refrigeration units. The contractor shall perform monthly site visits The Medical Center will provide specifications to the Contractor for each unit that requires repair. Contractor shall provide bi-annual training to up to 12 VA staff members. Each training session shall be for 8 hours. The contract shall be effective for a base period of one (1) year, with four (4) one-year options, to be exercised at the Government s discretion. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made.
