The old Denver VA Medical Center at 1055 Clermont Street, Denver CO 80220 facility has an Underground Fuel Storage Tank management program in place to address monitoring, record-keeping requirements and regulations, procedures and organizational mechanisms designed to prevent or limit accidental release of Petroleum, Oil and Lubricates (POL) to surface water, groundwater, or soils. The fuel storage tank system has underground storage tanks (UST), above storage tanks (AST), day tanks, and associated fuel supply piping system at 1055 Clermont Street, Denver CO, 80220. RMRVAMC has a need for the inspection and testing of this Government owned fuel storage tank system consisting of 1 EA 4,000 gallon UST (underground storage tank), 1 EA 500 gallon vaulted AST (aboveground storage tank), 4 EA 20,000 gallon UST, and a 2,800 gallon bermed secondary containment system. The fuel storage and distribution system must be inspected, drained, monitored monthly, bi-monthly Cathodic Protection Inspection, and inspected again at either the 1-year mark or prior to the sale of the property, whichever occurs first.
