Box 1500 Ft. Harrison, MT 59636-1500 PURPOSE: The VA Montana Healthcare System (hereinafter the Agency ) requires Backflow Prevention Maintenance at the Fort Harrison VA Medical Center located at 3687 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, MT 59636. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, professional expertise, licenses, vehicles, tools, materials, services, equipment, and quality control for completion of this project. The Contractor shall be responsible for all damages to persons or property occurring because of the Contractor s fault or negligence. SCOPE OF WORK This is a non-personal services contract to provide backflow preventer maintenance services in support of Ft Harrison VAMC. Maintenance includes inspection and testing/certification of BFP assemblies. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract services providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide backflow preventer maintenance services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except as those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state and federal regulations. The result of this contract will maintain and keep fully operational all backflow preventers across the entirety of the Ft Harrison Campus. The contractor shall provide backflow preventer maintenance (BFP) services for devices listed in technical exhibit 7. All locations and quantities are estimated and shall be field verified by the contractor.
