Refer to block 20 of the solicitation. We are a Minority owned company, could we be considered for this opportunity? Refer to block 20 of the solicitation. If your answers to questions 1 and 2 were to be favorable, Am I understanding that all you would require by December the 13th would be a quote for billing of this service (RFQ) and no other information at this time? Refer to pages 48 -49 of the solicitation. It says there are 8 unarmed guards are necessary, but the chart showing the guard location, number and times only has 4 guards. Could you please clarify? For the purpose of daily operations, we require 4 guards, however weekly operations would necessitate another shift of 4 guards. On the schedule chart it mentions 4320 hours, but when we multiply one person by 24 hours multiplied by 180 days it comes to 4320 hours. Is this correct? That is correct. 4320 hours for 1 guard lasting 180 days. The period of coverage is in 24-hour intervals, how are the shifts divided or do we decide the shifts? We desire two 12 hours shifts from 0600 1800. Higher volumes of traffic begin at 0630 with shifts starting. Where would the post locations be located? Is it only the Main Gate or are there other locations or other buildings to guard? If so, what are the specific building locations, could you explain in more detail? There is one ingress/egress route at Sheridan VAHCS and that is through the Main Gate entrance. The driveway is a two-lane road approximately one mile in length. The screening area is located the last 2/3 of the driveway closest to the facility. What is the Trailer being used for? The trailer is for adverse weather conditions. Sheridan, WY is located at the base of the Big Horn mountains and during the winter accumulates quite a bit of snow and/or negative temperatures. During the summers is gets warm as well. Do we need to provide the Past Performance? Refer to the statement of work of the solicitation and pages 48-49 of the solicitation. For the psychological assignment is there a form we need to submit? I wrote nothing of a psychological assignment in the SoW. Is this a new contract? If not, who is the incumbent and what is the contract number? This is a new requirement. How many light towers are required? What are the specifications for the Light Tower? Is there a specific light tower that you require? Such as the height or the size? Please Clarify. Per section 5, paragraph d, line xi of the SoW: Sheridan VAHCS will continue to provide one light tower; any additional lights will be the responsibility of the Contractor. The current tower is situated across the street from the trailer and adequately lights the necessary screening area. The trailer area and parking area would benefit from lighting, however that is at the discretion of the vendor. How many guards are required per shift? 2 guards per shift. NOTE: The submission date is extended to Monday, December 20, 2021 with quotes to be submitted no later than 10:00AM Mountain Standard Time (MST).
