Page 2 of 2 NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract, and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. Determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with 13.106-1 (b) (1) (i) The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) intends to issue a five year (one 12-month base year; and four 12-month option years); firm fixed prices; sole source award contract to Carefusion Solutions, LLC SPECIFIC SERVICE FOR The contractor shall provide ongoing Software Management Services for the BD Alaris System. Equipment is located at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, 1700 N Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. SPECIFIC SERVICE FOR Ongoing support services Education Data Reporting and Informatics Support Software The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811219. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that the responding firm is authorized to provide the requested services for the BD Alaris System, that competition would be advantageous to the Government, and would not be cost or time prohibitive. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Companies capable of providing these services should respond via email to Shanta Harrison, Contract Specialist, at Shanta.Harrison@va.gov and NCO19Services1@va.gov with a statement describing your capabilities. The capability statement shall include a point of contact, complete mailing address, telephone number, email address, and state the company s business size status and should address this specific requirement, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. Please be as thorough as possible in your submission. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged.
