SOUCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY This is a sources sought announcement ONLY and is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a quick reference of a Sources Sought Announcement seeking potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, service-disabled veteran owned small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 532490. Responses to the announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on GSA. Responses to the sources sought announcement are not considered adequate responses to a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affair, Network Contracting Office 19, is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide leasing of Karl Storz scopes and equipment that are used for pre-operative and post-operative care and evaluation. This equipment includes video ureteroscopes and flexible uretero-reno fiberscopes, kits, and accessories. The lease will include access to labor, replacement parts and loaner equipment in the event of equipment failure. The intended contract period will be for one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods beginning September 30, 2021. The service will be performed at: George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center 500 Foothill Drive Salt Lake City, UT 84148 This notice is neither a request for competitive proposal or solicitation of offerors.
