Transformer Oil Sampling/Testing Sheridan VA Health Care System Sheridan, WY 82801 BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK (This is for information only) PURPOSE: The Sheridan VA Health Care System, WY requires a contractor to provide transformer oil sampling and analyzing, in accordance with the terms and conditions stated within this abbreviated Performance Work Statement (PWS). This is a Request for Information (RFI) Only for Market Research purposes, no Award will be made from this RFI. TASKS and REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor is required to follow the newest version of VHA Directive 1028 to test cooling liquids and replace when tests indicate the liquid no longer meets manufacturer specifications. The Contractor is required to take oil samples from 25 oil filled transformers and analyze the data. The Contractor is required to provide a report of the data findings to the local VA point of contact (POC) (VA POC will be provided at award). The Contractor must perform testing in accordance with ASTM standards. The Contractor must provide qualified technicians, tools, materials, and supplies including approved containers to obtain the samples. The Contractor must provide technicians who have OSHA 10-hour General Industry Practice s certification and NFPA 70B training on proper protective equipment. The Contractor must take samples annually (between June and October) for a base plus 4-year contract. IMPORTANTR NOTE: This RFI (Request for Information) is for information only.
