The VA ECHCS has a need to supply after hours and weekend transportation to VA patients between Denver International Airport, their lodging, and the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Hospital. Some patients travel to ECHCS from rural areas and other states. Sometimes patients need transportation to their lodging destination and/or the Denver International Airport (DIA) after the normal operating hours of the ECHCS VTS program. This contract is to ensure all patients have access to safe, timely and reliable transportation at all times of the day. This contract will also help further the VHAs strategic goal of improving customer satisfaction.
