The Department of Veterans Affairs Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS), located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora CO 80045 has a bona-fide need for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) to provide accreditation services for its pharmacy residents. These services are required to maintain accreditation of ECHCS s Postgraduate Year One Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY1) Program and its Postgraduate Year Two Pharmacy Mental Health, Geriatrics and Hospital Administration Leadership Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY2) Programs. To have such a Program, the Rocky Mountain Regional VA is required to have and maintain accreditation by ASHP per VHA Handbook 1108.09 Pharmacy Education and Training.
