General The contractor shall furnish all services, materials, supplies, equipment, investigations and project supervision as required in connection with this Statement of Work and referenced design instructions. Should any questions or concerns arise during construction, a Request for Information (RFI) shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for further clarification, prior to proceeding with work. Standard Business Administration operating hours: 0730 to 1600. Work to be done during normal business hours. Scope Locate water leak from 6 fire main water supply line. Contractor shall demo and remove existing concrete to grade level. Possible demo and removal of adjacent asphalt to access water distribution line. Contractor shall replace broken section of 6 ductile iron line and/or fitting. No splicing of existing line, all defective pieces shall be replaced with new. Restore water pressure and verify system integrity. Contractor shall backfill and compact grading to at least 90% density. Contractor shall replace removed rebar from concrete by doweling into existing adjacent concrete and epoxy into place. Contractor shall provide a moisture barrier. Contractor shall use a minimum 3,700 psi concrete and finish with a medium broom finish.
