In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) / 8.405-6(a)(2), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to Spacesaver Intermountain LLC, 249 South 400 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84111: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 1 Control heads 4 EA 2 Motors, brackets, controllers 4 EA 3 Safety sweep kits 4 EA 4 Installation and testing 1 EA The Salt Lake City VA Medical Center has Spacesaver moving shelves and need to replace existing unsafe and inoperable Space Saver sliding shelving system motors and controls. In a letter dated 7/07/2020, the manufacturer states, Spacesaver Intermountain, LLC has sole authority of these responsibilities in the state of Utah. Spacesaver Intermountain, LLC is the only Spacesaver authorized installation / service technicians certified to install, service, move or add on to any new or existing Spacesaver system in their primary area of responsibility. Any existing Spacesaver system must be moved by a factory trained and certified Spacesaver installer in order to maintain its warranty and the availability of parts. No other party other than Spacesaver Intermountain, LLC is authorized, trained or certified (which is contingent on activating and maintaining warranty) to conduct Spacesaver work in this territory. Please also note that the warranty is void if work is done by others and no other company can purchase replacement or upgrade parts for the Spacesaver systems. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 337215 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Thursday, September 17, 2020. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
