In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) / 8.405-6(a)(2), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, located at 500 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84148 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the small business manufacturer, CISCOR Inc., located at 126 W. Main St., Norman, OK 73069: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 0001 Pendant, Single Button Water Resistant Mfg. Part # DS1223S-3600 140 EA 0002 Pendant, Single Button Mfg. Part # DS1233S 160 EA 0003 CS EQUIP-WHP/PRODESK 400 G3, Product #2RN24UT#ABA (Special Order, Windows 10 Computer) 15 EA 0004 CPU-MONITOR/Computer Monitor for CS 15 EA The Salt Lake City VA Medical Center currently has 528 panic buttons, manufactured by CISCOR, installed throughout the medical center and in use. In a letter dated 12/30/2019, the manufacturer states, CISCOR is a single source vendor for the CISCOR Emergency Call System. CISCOR also states the computers and monitors necessary to work with the emergency call system must be procured through them. There are currently 10 computers and monitors in use supporting the 528 panic buttons. CISCOR designs, sells and services the equipment along with all writing software. There are no other entities that are certified to service CISCOR Emergency Call Systems. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541519 and the Business Size Standard is $27.5 mil. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
