Mechanical Services for the Sheridan VA Medical Center, Sheridan, Wyoming The Sheridan VA Medical Center has approximately 50 buildings that house multiple mechanical systems ranging from residential-sized gas water heaters and individual steam radiators, to large commercial-industrial sized chillers and air handlers. Fifteen of these buildings house the main hospital and administrative buildings that constitute the primary working functions of the medical center. These systems require maintenance. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform mechanical services as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Contractor will work out of the Sheridan VAMC Engineering Department, primarily during normal duty hours. Contractor will be provided office/desk space and utility management system access to assess and maintain proper control over VA-owned HVAC mechanical systems. The offeror will include a line item in the submitted bid quantifying the discount to the government for use of this office/desk space. The objective of this service contract will be to provide maintenance service for all included mechanical systems, with primary emphasis on those that serve patient needs.
