The purpose of the amendment is to correct information posted in Amendment 0001 and further define the correct course of action for this procurement. The Government incorrectly used NAICS 333112 for this acquisition. The correct NAICS for this acquisition should have been 333111, Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing. With the use of NAICS of 333111 and the Product Service Code of 2420, a Nonmanufacturer Class Waiver exists. The class waiver satisfies the fourth prong question when determining if an SDVOSB qualifies as a nonmanufacturer. With yes responses provided during market research for the remaining three (3) prong questions, SDVOSBs do qualify as nonmanufacturer s for this acquisition; therefore, this action was correctly solicited as a SDVOSB set-aside. Amendment 0001 stating the new solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside is rescinded. The new solicitation will be issued as a SDVOSB set-aside, using NAICS 333111 and the Product Service code of 2420. The solicitation is still canceled and will be resolicited, under a new solicitation number, and posted to Contract Opportunities. Any quotes received under this original solicitation will not be evaluated or considered eligible for award. All quoters who submitted a price under this acquisition will be informed and requested to submit a new quote under the new solicitation.
