The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for Suicide Prevention Doors. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and shall not be construed as an obligation or commitment by the government. An award will not be made on any offers submitted in response to this notice, and it shall not be implied the Government is committed to providing any solicitation or award following this notice. The Government will not pay of any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate a respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided. The existing doors and hardware are currently Kennon; however, this does not mean the doors and hinges need to stay within that brand. Salient Characteristics Doors shall be Brand name or equal. Doors shall be Soft Suicide Prevention Doors (SSPD) and Soft Suicide Prevention Artwork (SSPA) Replacement will be for 19 single soft doors and 5 sets of double soft doors. Print Pattern shall be the standard landscape images: Mountain flowers, waterfall and beach sunset. Images should be varied on each size of door Images shall be on both sides of the door panels Doors shall have internal magnetic hinges and closures Doors shall pull off frame with 20 pounds of vertical pressure Measurements for the singles doors are as follows: 1 – 34 1/8” (Inside Door Frame Size) Left = right hand hinge 1 – 35 ½” (Inside Door Frame Size) Left = right hand hinge 3 – 35 ¾” (Inside Door Frame Size) Right = left hand hinge 12 – 35 ¾” (Inside Door Frame Size) Left = right hand hinge 1 – 38 7/16(Inside Door Frame Size) Left= right hand hinge Measurements for the Double/Saloon Doors are as follows: 4 – 59 ½” Double 1 – 45 ¾” Double DISCLAIMER This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
