Pre-Bid Meeting FOR Underground Storage Tank Removal The contractor is to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision required to complete the fill and close of an underground storage tank near Bldg. 38 at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center. Contractor must hold a current Utah state certification as an Underground Tank Installer. All work must be done in compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA and federal/state environmental regulations and policies. Contractor is responsible for proper handling and disposal of debris, waste and excess fuel generated during completion of this work. Location: Salt Lake City VA Medical Center AGENDA: Introduction of Ilze Karklins-Powers CO and Ryan COR The pre-bid meeting/site walk is not mandatory QUESTIONS During site visit MUST BE WRITTEN DOWN Address where to send RFQ: Electronic submissions to ilze.karklins-powers@va.gov Pertinent Dates: Questions due no later than COB August 28,2020, any questions submitted after this time will not be reviewed or answered. Please submit to ilze.karklins-powers@va.gov I ll get the answers back to you as quickly as possible Proposals due on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 no later than 1 PM MT via email. Prospective bidders are prohibited from attempting to gain information by inquiring with VA employees about project other than through written questions submitted to Contracting Officer. Prospective bidders are prohibited from visiting site other than through formal invitation by Contracting Officer. Attendees of walk-through are to stay as a group while walking to various locations and are to leave the future project site once the walk-through is concluded. Confirmation of construction range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Bid Guarantee & Payment/Performance Bonds: are required Contractor shall begin performance within 10 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete within 60 days. Post Award Compliance: Compliance with Davis Bacon Wages and Application wage determination shall be expected of the contractor. The contractor can submit their weekly certified payrolls with their monthly invoice. Contractor shall provide OSHA 10 and 30 documentation.
