The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for 1000 KW capacity trailer mounted resistive load bank with controls and cables, to include onsite training for four (4) staff after the load bank has been delivered. Below are the load bank specifics: Trailer mounted resistive load bank capacity. 1000KW at 240 or 480 VAC, 750KW at 208. Load step resolution 10KW. Blower power internal or external 208,240,480 VAC, 3-phase,60Hz. Internal dual voltage control power transformer. Transformer is primary and secondary fuse protected. The load bank is digitally controlled via an on-board PLC with color touchscreen display. Standard data monitoring of voltage, current and KW. The digital controller should include a wide range of safety circuits including cooling air loss, over temp, over voltage, under voltage and load dump. The load should automatically be removed and locked out in the event of a safety circuit trip. Should also come with a hard-wired E stop. Trailer is highway rated and built of heavy-duty welded construction with dual axles and radial tires. DOT and ICC approved. Electric breaks with lights and stabilizer jacks. Trailer has 4 cable reels mounted to the trailer. 16 50ft cables size 4/0, 400amp cam-lock no tools required ends. Eight hours of onsite operational load bank training with Sheridan VAHCS emergency generators. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for information and planning purposes only.
