This includes the Instru... Sheridan VA Health Care System, in Wyoming, requires repair of 2003 John Deere 1600 mower, S/N: TC1600T080145. Offerors are encouraged to fully read the solicitation attached. This includes the Instructions to Offerors in Section E of the solicitation where offerors are required to submit documents to support Special Standards of Responsibility. Mower has excessive hydraulic oil leaks from the Hydraulic oil pump and the Hydraulic motors. It was discovered that there was excessive metal particles in the hydraulic oil which has damaged the entire hydraulic system which will now require all new components and hoses to return the mower to full operation. Contractor is required to replace all damage items with John Deere parts that meet the requirements to fully repair the mower. Contractor must repair the hydraulic system and all associated parts of the John Deere 1600 Mower to include any unforeseen repairs necessary to place the mower back into full operation. This is a non-personal services contract. The Contractor, it s employees, agents and subcontractors shall not be considered government employees for any purpose. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, shipping, transportation, insurances, licenses, certifications and supervision necessary to provide services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor is responsible for all charges, fees, applications and procurement of all permits, licenses, registrations and certificates, pursuant to lawful application of the provision of services. For a contract of this size, scope and complexity, the successful Contractor must perform in a professional manner as recognized by commercial industry standards as good to excellent. CONTRACTOR MUST NOT PROCEED IF UNFORESEEN WORK REQUIRES ADDITIONAL FUNDS. Contact the Contracting Officer and obtain written approval before proceeding with additional work. VA will deliver and pick up mower to vendor location, but only within Sheridan county limits, Wyoming. Repairs must be completed by a certified professional mechanic with experience on John Deere mower repairs of a similar size, scope and complexity to the requirement herein.
